The Sunday morning ride follows a consistent path:
7:15 AM: Depart from the The Train Station (Michigan Central). Meet in the side East Plaza
7:30 AM: Join the Detroit Riverwalk, heading East with views of Windsor and the skyline.
8:00 AM: Cross the Mack Aurther Bridge to Belle Isle Park.
8:15 AM - 8:30 AM: The Pit Stop: A relaxed 15-minute break with light snack and water.
9:45 AM: Return leg, heading back West along the Riverwalk.
10:00 AM: Arrive back at the The Train Station (Michigan Central)
Pace is Medium (10-12 mph). This is not a race. We help each other and ride togehter
We recommend two primary locations for parking:
Michigan Central Train Station: Limited paid parking may be available directly at the station plaza or on surrounding streets.
Detroit YFC (Host Parking): Park securely at the Detroit YFC location (MLK Blvd & Rosa Parks). From here, there is high-access connectivity pedestrian bridge that leads you over into Corktown and the Central Train Station.
This event is community-focused and strictly requires all participants to prioritize safety. Helmets are strongly recommended for all riders. To ensure visibility and group coordination, lights and bells are also strongly encouraged.
This is a medium-pace ride suitable for many, including families. Riders of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join the adventure.
